The Calm Chair Method

Dr. Imneet’s blueprint to happy Pediatric Dental Visits

The Calm Chair Method sounds very technical as the Method, but it is indeed the celebration of the foundational human emotion of Trust. In this journey, there is a transformation of Pediatric Dentistry through Conscious Emotional Care

The Calm Chair Method is a groundbreaking behavioral framework designed to revolutionize how children experience dental care. This method is a indeed a movement that is designed on my long term experience and expertise in pediatric dental care.

Throughout my dental journey, I have reinstated the belief, that,

“A child may cry in the dental chair for the very first time but anytime after is alterable.”

As Laser specialist pediatric dentist and Neuro coach, I have learnt, re learnt and realized time and again that children are not scared of the dentist per say, they fear not being heard and understood. If we can facilitate our practice with modalities that replace fear with emotional empowerment, motivation and strength building.

Rooted in evidence-based psychology and integrative wellness, The Calm Chair Method combines elements of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EYFS child development principles, Buteyko breathing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Theta Healing, and Psych-K®. The goal is to create a calm, confident child who approaches dental visits with trust.

This method equips dental professionals, parents, and caregivers with a structured approach to communication, sensory alignment, and subconscious healing. It transforms the dental chair into a space of emotional safety and confidence-building, thereby, allowing children to be active participants in their own oral healthcare journey.

Whether a parent navigating dental anxiety or a practitioner seeking a higher standard of pediatric connection, The Calm Chair Method offers a new paradigm:
Where calm is the first treatment, and connection is the first cure.
